Meet the Founder

James E. Earl II

Founder

I am the founder of The Sankofa Method, a purpose-driven health and wellness platform grounded in the belief that health is the foundation of purpose. The Sankofa Method is inspired by the principle of “go back and fetch it,” honoring the idea that our past experiences hold the wisdom needed to build a stronger future. It is designed for individuals who have started, paused, and returned to their wellness journey, helping them build sustainable systems that align with their real lives and current season.

I hold a Bachelor’s in Social Work and a Master’s in Public Administration from The University of Texas at Arlington and I am a co-author on peer-reviewed research focused on health equity, healthcare access, and cancer outcomes in women in underserved communities across Tarrant County.

My approach is also grounded in a trauma-informed lens, recognizing that lived experiences shape how individuals relate to their bodies, habits, and capacity for change. I center safety, choice, trust so that growth is supportive, respectful, and sustainable.
